These terms govern your purchase and use of Laser Coaching services provided by Executive Coaching with Alex Pearlman (“Coach”). By scheduling and completing payment through Calendly, you (“Client”, “you/your”) agree to the following:

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking and is processed through Calendly using Stripe. Payment must be received before your session is confirmed. All sales are final (see Refund Policy).

Attendance

We will join the coaching session at the scheduled time via the link provided in the calendar invite. Sessions begin and end at the scheduled times. Late arrival will not extend the session end time. No-shows will result in forfeiture of payment.

Coach Availability

In the event Coach is unavailable due to illness or other circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at your convenience.

Cancellations

You may reschedule your session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time by using the link in your calendar invite. Cancellations or reschedule requests made less than 24 hours before the session will result in forfeiture of your payment.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refunds are only provided if Coach cancels the session (Coach Availability).

Wellbeing

You understand and agree to be fully responsible for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being during coaching calls, including your choices and decisions. You are aware that you can choose to discontinue coaching at any time.

Coaching Definition and Limitations

You understand that “coaching” is a professional relationship designed to facilitate the creation and development of personal, professional, or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy for achieving those goals. You understand that coaching outcomes depend on your engagement and application of insights gained through the coaching process.

You understand that the coaching provided does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association. You understand that coaching is not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment and you will not use it in place of any form of diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.

If you are currently in therapy or otherwise under the care of a mental health professional, you have consulted with them regarding working with a coach and they are aware of your decision to proceed with this coaching relationship.

You understand that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual or other qualified professionals. You will seek independent professional guidance for legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual or other matters. You understand that all decisions in these areas are exclusively yours and you acknowledge that your decisions and actions regarding them are your sole responsibility.

Use of AI

Coach will use an AI notetaker for all conversations so that key insights and takeaways can be captured without any distraction, unless Client objects. Notes can easily be shared with Client after every call if so desired. Coach will not share these notes with anyone else, and will only use the notes for the purpose of providing coaching services.

Confidentiality

This coaching relationship, and all information (documented or verbal) that the Client shares with the Coach as part of this relationship, is bound by the principles of confidentiality set forth in the ICF Code of Ethics. However, please be aware that the Coach-Client relationship is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like the medical and legal professions) and thus communications are not subject to the protection of any legally recognized privilege. The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Client without the Client’s written consent. The Coach will not disclose the Client’s name as a reference without the Client’s consent.

Confidential Information does not include information that: (a) was in the Coach’s possession prior to its being furnished by the Client; (b) is generally known to the public or in the Client’s industry; (c) is obtained by the Coach from a third party, without breach of any obligation to the Client; (d) is independently developed by the Coach without use of or reference to the Client’s confidential information; or (e) the Coach is required by statute, lawfully issued subpoena, or by court order to disclose; (f) is disclosed to the Coach and as a result of such disclosure the Coach reasonably believes there to be an imminent or likely risk of danger or harm to the Client or others; or (g) involves illegal activity. The Client also acknowledges their continuing obligation to raise any confidentiality questions or concerns with the Coach in a timely manner.

Client understands that information will be held as confidential unless Coach states otherwise, in writing, except as required by law.

Release of Information

The Coach engages in training and continuing education pursuing and/or maintaining ICF (International Coach Federation) Credentials. That process requires the names and contact information of all Clients for possible verification by ICF. By signing this agreement, you agree to have only your name, contact information, and start and end dates of coaching shared with ICF staff members and/or other parties involved in this process for the sole and necessary purpose of verifying the coaching relationship, no personal notes will be shared.

According to the ethics of the coaching profession, you understand that topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other coaching professionals for training, supervision, mentoring, evaluation, and for coach professional development and/or consultation purposes.

Intellectual Property

Any frameworks, tools, worksheets, or materials shared by Coach during the engagement are proprietary to Coach and are provided solely for Client’s personal, professional development use. Client may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials with third parties without Coach’s prior written consent.

By completing payment through Calendly, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms of Laser Coaching.
